The Client
Servaid pharmacy roots back to the early 2000s, serving customers at the forefront; brick-and-mortar style. More than 100 shops all over Punjab, they offer a variety of pharmaceutical, healthcare and other wellness consumer products.
The challenge – Digital transformation
As customers are easing into online shopping experiences, it has become evident that the old-fashioned offline channels need to reshape their strategies for modern demands. The challenge with Servaid was to build a digital strategy from ground up, ensuring that their extensive inventory of 20,000+ products are intricately and accurately presented in the form of an online e-commerce platform.
Solution – A multi-channel conversion strategy
The initial scope of this iterative project was to convert the inventory into an e-pharmacy to provide greater accessibility to the customer. The project underwent multiple phases where we refined the concept into a multi-channel business strategy, with a robust user experience through the cohesion of a website and mobile app with geo-location integration.
UX audit and research
The research process started from drafting user-personas to understand a user-centered design point-of-view, which later assisted our usability testing sessions. We used our audience study as a design compass, which laid the foundation of an interactive user interface.
Website & UX development
Following the research and brand guidelines, began the immersive sessions of sketching out visually appealing design solutions, ensuring that we meet industry standards. Identifying the user journey, we advanced to creating low-fidelity wireframes, mapping out the shell of the interface.
We consistently practiced the process of refinement and iteration throughout the course of this project. The first phase was concluded with a beta run to thoroughly analyze the product’s performance and utilized the feedback to optimize the functionality of the website. As we gathered market feedback, the project transformed to phase two, where we made more amendments to the overall outlook of the brand, with a more elaborative approach in terms of design, value-added conversion strategies as well as overall execution.

Application Development
Considering the rising industry demands and the market dynamics, Servaid needed an efficient running mobile app, with geo-location enabled, all set to give customers a personlized shopping experience. Our collaborative effort resulted in a sophisticated, well-structured location-aware e-commerce app that drastically increased conversions.
A work in progress
With Servaid achieving a thriving success since its launch, we’re continuously seeing an increase in website traffic, conversions, and satisfied customers. Still being a work in progress, we are always improving strategies, making amendments, extending the inventory, and bringing updates as per customer response.
